温家宝3月14日表示他在早2009年和2011年跟奥巴马深入讨论贸易不平衡。温家宝总理说为了均衡起来中美贸易关系，他跟奥巴马应该循着合作的路子，并且实行持久的方法。对中国人民币汇率问题来说，中国总理觉得它“有可能已接近均衡水平”。北京政府低估着人民币被国际经济贸易界的专家视为给中国公司不公平的出口盈余，而温家宝承认中国应该继续调查人民币汇率波动的较大幅度和双向结果。我根本不知道增加对华压力是否引起中国的贸易和人民币汇率改变最好的方法。我认为温家宝之所以说这样和平性的话的原因不在于他要跟美国解决这两个问题，但是他却只要等他下台的时候或者更强硬的压力来的时候。
